Privacy Policy

Our approach

AIstrella is a personal relationship manager — the contacts you store are yours. We designed it so your data stays private: every workspace is fully isolated from every other, and we never sell or rent your data or use it to train models for anyone else.

Information we collect

Account information you provide (name, email, password — stored hashed). Content you add: contacts, notes, tags, and related relationship data (“Your Data”). Data from integrations you explicitly connect (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, and Calendar metadata) used to build your timeline. Basic technical and usage logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the Service for you — including AI features such as search and relationship suggestions that run over Your Data on your behalf. To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and provide support. To communicate with you about your account. We process Your Data only to deliver the Service to you, not to advertise to you.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service: cloud hosting and database infrastructure; an AI provider (OpenAI) to power search and copilot features; and, for paid plans, a payment processor (Stripe) — we never store your full card details. Integrations you connect (Google, Microsoft, Calendly) are accessed with read-only permissions where applicable and only at your direction.

Your rights and choices

You can access, export, and delete the content you provide (“Your Content” — your contacts, notes, and information) at any time from within the app. You can disconnect any integration, which revokes our ongoing access, and you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as under GDPR or CCPA); contact us to exercise them.

Export and portability apply to Your Content; an export also includes the tags on your contacts, labeled as manual or automatically generated. The other insights AIstrella derives — AI scores and weightings, embeddings, and relationship inferences — belong to AIstrella and are not included in an export.

Data retention and security

We retain Your Data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward so you can recover or export it, then delete it. We protect data in transit and at rest, encrypt sensitive integration tokens, and restrict internal access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of incidents as required by law.
